Ne’er caste a clout till May be out….

I thought this was ideal for the Tiny Tuesday theme of ‘something to illustrate a saying or proverb. This is the first day this year that I’ve been out in a short sleeved linen top instead of my usual fleece or Aran sweater. It’s a shame I can’t take a better selfie to illustrate the short sleeves and even cropped jeans.
Do I fit ‘tiny’? Well not really but I guess yes in comparison to the tall buildings.

My GP has told me I must eat more and used the threat that they may refuse to do my op if my bloods aren’t under control. She said that if I don’t eat more my blood sugar will increase. Not sure about that but I am trying and decided I’d have a lovely breakfast out today. I did my research yesterday and whittled down to 2 or 3. Seeing the price of things on the menu of the new place in Market Square moved that one off the short list.
So this morning I headed to town. Straight towards the first place on my list. It’s closed today for one week for refurbishment! It’s only been open a short while and the Arcade had major roadworks for a few weeks which affected their business. But not enough for them to delay refurbishing to the quieter months! So good old M&S it was. The decaf iced latte was as delicious as always but there was very little food on offer. Apparently deliveries hadn’t come in. Yesterday they had no bread. I know we are an island but surely the weather is perfect for the boats to run! So I’m trying to eat but…
