Fun Afternoon and Sleepover

Today the number of tents in our garden multiplied.
We had 14 children round from church for a fun afternoon of games - the alternative Olympics including wellie-wanging - hard work in the heat of the afternoon.
This was followed by tea in the garden and a DVD, then the under 8's went home.
The remaining 11 then built their tents before going on a long walk around the reservoir and surrounding lanes, approximately 4 miles.
A DVD followed and then bed around 11pm.
All was quiet and settled by midnight, the only disturbance the church bell tolling every 15 minutes!
