I decided not to go out in the car. Signs have been up for a few weeks to say the road would be closed today. There are ways around, different depending on where it was closed but on even narrower roads and it can get chaotic if vehicles need to pass.

I had another garden/outdoor jobs morning. A neighbour walked by at 10 o’clock and said the road was clear.

I went for a short walk at 1 o’clock and still no road closure.

I looked around the garden in the afternoon sunshine for an insect photo but couldn’t spot anything to blip. There were two white butterflies but they didn’t land and I’ve posted a bee recently.
