Around the bloomin heather

Nice walk to John Knox’s Pulpit, a sandy track (from when Scotland was a desert over 350m years ago) to the rocky outcrop and waterfall. John Knox (a less friendly Ian Paisley) was never there but it’s said the Covenanters would have secret meetings to talk about churchy things, in the day tbs. I even had my feet in the icy river hoping for some miracle cures…maybe in the morning.
