Forging

Jaffa forging ahead. She does this when it’s somewhere new (or at least unfamiliar). We think she’s checking that it’s safe. If she knows the route then she just dawdles behind, sniffing everything. This was our first time at this location for years.

Met a bloke waking/running from John O’Groats to Lands End. The path was quite overgrown and he had just gashed his head on a tree. We helped clean him up and reassure him that it had stopped bleeding and then we parted. He was diagnosed with incurable bowel cancer and is busy raising money for charity. I hope the rest of his journey goes well.
