Wild barley!

Last week, a local farmer told me he was just going to remove some wild oats from his crops. Apparently they are easy to spot as they are taller than the planted crop. However, if they are not removed, they produce about 100 unwanted seeds.
I don’t think these are wild oats at Strichen Park this morning as I think it is barley.
