Messing about...

...on the river.

A few weeks ago I agreed to meet a friend for a walk along the Thames near Marlow.  We didn't expect it to be 31ºC, but the kids were having a great time on the water.

This evening we went to Garsington's Community Opera, called "A Trip to the Moon".  There were 220 (!) performers on stage, aged from 5 to 85.  There were half a dozen professional singers and the Philharmonia Orchestra, plus zillions of kids from local schools and anyone who lives locally who is interested in performing and passed an audition.  The 5 year olds were the most adorable Moon-babies you can imagine :-)
