Tiny Tuesday: "A Bad Penny Always Turns Up!"

Thanks to isbi for hosting the TT challenge this month. She'd like entries this week on "something to illustrate a saying or proverb". My Editor had the idea of illustrating this proverb: "A bad penny always turns up". She even found this rather bad 1890 penny (it's certainly very worn, not surprising I guess as it's 134 years old) so I thought I'd make it "turn up"*.

The term "bad penny" has been around since at least the 14th Century - there's more interesting information here.

(*NB. I didn't really damage this coin of the realm by bending it to make it "turn up" - Photoshop kindly undertook that task.)
