Hot Day

We had an early morning walk with Merlin. Afterwards I did a little gardening but it soon became too hot to be outside in the direct sunlight. So I stayed inside for most of the rest of the day other than to wash Merlin in the hope of cooling him down. We’ve had a pleasant walk around the village this evening with cool air wafting in from the fields.
