Cheers!
So far so good.
Frank had results from the last MRI scan today and there is no cancer in the liver or pancreas.
However he is going for an endoscopy on Thursday to remove the stent from the common bile duct and also take biopsies from there. If they are clear he should be OK but will have another MRI in 4-6 weeks to make sure all is in working order. Apparently cancer in the common bile duct is very rare.
The consultant said she’s not worried but after all the confusion over the past 2 months she wants to be 100% sure that there is no cancer.
She remarked on how well Frank is looking.
He had bloods taken today in advance of the Endoscopy on Thursday.
We feel cautiously positive!
These last few days Frank has been feeling so much better, more energy, good appetite and sleeping well.
I want to thank all you Blippers from the bottom of my heart (and Frank’s bottom too! ;-D)) for all the lovely, supportive comments over the last 2 months. Is it really that long? Yes, it is!
Goodnight my friends ❤️:-)X
PS My heart is breaking for those children and their families and friends in Southport. How can any parent, grandparent, sibling cope with such loss.
It’s unbearable. And now those horrible riots - they are just thugs looking for their next fight. Please God make it stop.
