Skimming stones

It is J's twenty first on Monday and as a surprise we arranged for C and her boyfriend L to come down from Scotland for a few days to celebrate it. He thought that she couldn't get time off work and it has been a mission keeping the secret but he had no idea!

They came on Nellie's morning walk and this is them skimming stones. I like it because you can see both the stones. This was taken at 8:15 this morning and you can see how misty it was....still very warm though. The mist burned off and as I write this it is 34 degrees on the thermometer!! Another glorious day!
