At the finish of Ride for Tavie
You may remember that I was planning to ride the final three stages of the Norfolk to Cardiff “Ride for Tavie” to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital which had expertly treated little Tavie, the daughter and granddaughter of close friends, when she was critically ill with life threatening septicaemia. Because of my recent injury, I sadly had to pull out of the ride but we joined a crowd of friends and family who were there to greet the cyclists at the finish of the ride this afternoon outside Llandaff Cathedral. The ride was a great success and raised over £43,000 for GOS. The main shows the group of riders together with mum Ceri, and little Tavie on Cathedral Green .
