End of the wire

Today G and M headed off very early to catch a plane to Dublin as our daughter in law has always wanted to visit Ireland. They are away for a couple of nights so of course this has left granny and grandpa with the pleasant task of entertaining 9 year old Abigail.

As it was a beautiful day we headed for one of the local fruit farms which has a lot of entertainment for children and it was certainly being well used. 

One of the highlights for our granddaughter was the Zip wire as the blip shows but we all enjoyed the maze where we had to follow paths in a large field of maize to find the various RNLI boards and attach stickers to a sheet. We found 9 out of 10 and Abigail hopes to return when her Stratford on Avon cousins head North next weekend to join us.

The plan tomorrow is to take the train to Edinburgh.
