Penstemon

Another plant I love. this is a cutting I have several in pots here and there.

Hot again, too hot to do much outdoors although just round the corner of the house it's really cool so nice to sit and read or just natter.
not done much today except shop at Tesco, Yesterday was the same except shop at Lidl plus the usual dog walking. Plant watering etc.

Kirsty brought Tanzy a pool that you attach a hose to and the rim fills with water and it spurts out so the dogs can play and keep cool. NOT Tanzy she just looks at it then goes and lies down somewhere else

We picked the first tomato's  yesterday, I did take a blip of them but it turned out very blurred. Now we have eaten them.

Todays rant
I was rather annoyed today because yesterday the lady who lives at the back of us came to tell me she had a chap coming to trim the shoots growing out at the  bottom of the sycamore tree which is half at the back of her garage and half in my garden, I was going to trim our side when it got cooler. When I came back from shopping he had trimmed all he lovely new growth off the tree right to the top and I am left looking at a bare trunk again, it was coming on lovely too.
