Summer sunshine

A trip to the shop this morning to buy my wife a new compact camera (the repair to the old, sick one was uneconomic). Quick decision - bought the current model of her old one (which is at least 2 generations old). The advantage is she is very familiar with it, it will fit the same case and it uses the same batteries, so she has now has plenty of spares.

We then drove up to Peterborough to visit my "big" sister who is currently in hospital. Good to see her, and to hear that she is feeling a bit better today than over the last week.

Finally a drive home through the lovely sunny Hertfordshire countryside.
