Church Window

This morning I went to church, this was my view looking out the window.

In about 2003 the walking group walked along the top of this mountain range, on a track called 'The Skyline Track'.  About 25 of us took part, and for the main group it took us 11 1/2 hours to walk up Mt Roy, across the top, down to Spotts Creek and ending in the Cardrona Valley.  It was a total of 23 k's.  At the time I said 'been there, done that, never again'.  That is precisely what has happened.  Now I can look up from the comfort of my chair with some pride about our achievement on that day many years ago.

First thing this morning I took my car for a WOF, will collect it in the morning.  I had a nice cuppa and scone while waiting for a ride to church.  I am now sitting in front of the fire, where it is nice and warm.  The temperature outside once again is +3C.  Its pretty cloudy..  Will watch a rerun of the Olympics.
