New deep water berth at Leith

Inchkeith island behind the bow of the Carnival Legend. 

We saw the ship in a new position when it came in in the morning, didn't think the new pier was close enough to finished for it to be in use, and indeed this was a trial run . The link has a picture taken from a drone (click on the picture for a much larger version) which shows how the dockside works; buses drawn up on a platform next to the ship.  It does block the lock access for anything except a small tug .. 

Morning walk for bread; found four guys and a piano at the door of a stair; the piano was going in, and up four flights of stairs .. 

Dry, mostly sunny, a SouthWest wind.
