Donside

When it comes to me getting pictures of the River Don which runs through my town I tend to go off the beaten track and take pictures of the more wild and unkempt side over than the neatly manicured bank sides in the centre of the town.

Also not a good idea to wander off through the undergrowth wearing shorts but then again I did find a spot where I could get right to the waters edge and have a paddle. In today's heat it was bliss.

I love tranquil riverside places.
