A very warm and sunny day.

I spent the whole of the morning out in the garden and this afternoon went down to the bowls club for a practice ahead of tomorrow's match. I played well but gave up after 45 minutes as I was beginning to lose concentration.

This evening I filled a tub with water and gave all the hanging baskets and the smaller pots a good soaking.

This year has not been a good one for butterflies, but at last a few are starting to appear.
