No.2's new studio is on the top floor and gets very hot.  New blind installed and roof blinds fashioned out of some material and dowling?  He was working today but had arranged for a plumber to sort out leaking tap on the sink.  Never a good idea to have tradesmen call when you are not present as this resulted in backwards and forwards text to consierge and tenant who was wfh.  So far £120 down and that was just for the 'diagnostic' check.  More to come I am sure.

I faffed and then faffed a bit more, had an appointment for nails at lunchtime and watched racing from goodwood over her shoulder - not sure why she has to have the tv on all the time, music is a better background distraction.  Home to sit under the tree in the shade with No.1 then a lovely bbq (called into M&S and bought prawns on skewers - although will buy wooden sticks and do my own next time?).  No.1 had a phone call from JC which unsettled her and worried me?  Such a horrible time, all in limbo waiting......... although not sure what for?
