One after my own heart..!

Today was ‘the saddest day of my life. SO disappointing.’ She said when the venue we’d chosen was closed until 4pm.

Not a problem for long. We had a super day at Anglesey Abbey ‘ though it was HOT and the play activity areas were looking somewhat tired and in need of refreshment. Definitely lacking in families and staff. But a little cajoling and getting stuck into things myself worked and Esmée enjoyed our time there. Dressing up is always fun! It’s a beautiful venue and our picnic spot was perfect.

Home in time to collect Théa from nursery and to receive her fantastic welcome. Both girls cooled off in the paddling pool before Joff did a great BBQ dinner which we ate inside out of the sun.
