A day of ships!

Our next day of exploring was a trip to Portsmouth. I know it's not in Sussex but we really wanted to see all the ships. And we certainly did!

Starting with HMS Warrior, the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and finally a boat trip around the harbour where we saw several of the Navy's ships - I can't remember their names, apart from Illustrious, the aircraft carrier.

I was all shipped out by the end of the day!

We were most impressed by the new museum and seeing the Mary Rose - the exhibition was really well put together.

This is HMS Victory, which is currently undergoing a major restoration so it's masts were missing, which made it look a bit odd.

Again, another glorious day of hot sunny weather.

The only thing we didn't manage was a visit up the Spinnaker Tower - maybe next time...
