My Reward...

After going Private when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2018 and paying for my mammogram and ultrasound for 4 years... Because I'd reached the milestone of being 5 years Breast Cancer FREE today I was able to return to our free Queensland Breast Screening clinic who were the people that picked up my early stage of Breast Cancer in 2018...
I took them a gift of Chocolates and Biscuits for their staffroom as a Thank You...
I wasn't nervous like previous years and thought I was over the anxiety attacks... But as soon as I pulled up in the carpark it hit me like a truck, all those emotions came back...
The staff were lovely and understanding but also asked questions because they love seeing Breast Cancer survivors come back...
Afterwards I went and enjoyed a date scone and coffee as a reward...
