Critter on flowers

It’s probably a Stripe-faced drone fly on white Spiraea japonica flowers in the front garden.

We’re off to Rotterdam this afternoon. After all the scans, echos and X-rays the doctor team has not discovered any metastases, but obviously the cancer cells on DJ’s bottom lip need to be removed. Apparently these kind of cancer cells form nasty little root like protrusions, so tomorrow they’re going to remove the cells thin layer by thin layer, researching the layers every time until there are no more cancer cells in the layer. This may take all day and obviously if they have to remove more then three layers they will need to do some repairs to fill it up too. Here’s hoping it will all go smoothly!

Tomorrow’s Abstract Thursday is the first in August and as such there’s no optional theme. The tag will be AT475.

Thanks very much for the kind comments and stars for the dropped stitch.
