Wednesday Walk

We took a different walk today from our usual local ones, not far away, on part of the trans Pennine Way. I  wanted to collect a garden chair from the trading estate close by, so G kindly drove us, and we were able to collect the chair, and incorporate the walk. Nice and shady and cool, with a small stream alongside. Back in the garden for a while after lunch, but much too hot out there, after 2.0 ish.
Sad, news, a friend and neighbour at the far end of the street, also a member of the library book group, passed away on Sunday. A lovely lady, who finally lost her fight against cancer. RIP Jan.
