Sunny Saturday

This morning was another day committed to making progress on our church building.

It was delightful that we got at least one helper from each partnership church. This man, in the photo, is much older than he looks. His time overseas in the challenging Chad, has made him tough and resourceful and resilient. Lovely to see him.

When I got home, via Elbows with a cricket date, I got to go swimming at West Reservoir. The sun only appeared as we got out but it was wonderful to sit on grass with EmCoops and her girl, as we dried off. It was so crowded.

I’m also doing the church dinner tomorrow so I needed to crack on with that as I got washing done.
