Right plant, right place!

The bottom of the steps at the garden entrance has always been a difficult spot. Eventually, these cast iron urns made themselves at home but, as they are quite small and directly under an old gnarly prunus, nothing seemed to flourish. This year I noticed that begonia didn’t mind a bit of shade and seem fairly happy. Must remember to take some cuttings for next year.
Lots of watering, weeding and cutting back going on, in between organising visits for my gardening group.
