Madeira

On the 1st anniversary of Dot.T and WelshMan’s wedding, 8 of us flew to Madeira. The 4 of us still living at home met up with the 2 couples at Gatwick and headed towards an island none of us have visited before.

Flight passed quickly with a good book. On landing the plane, the crew got a round of applause because the airport has short runway challenges.

Our car hiring presented challenges too but we eventually got to our AirBnb in Funchal. The apartment is basic but utterly fine. First floor and with incredible sea views.

We were all so hungry, we headed out pretty quickly. It wasn’t just a food thing; we needed to celebrate A&D’s first anniversary.
