Pond

This moorhen looks understandably reluctant to enter the water which is covered in weed and littered with traffic cones and other rubbish.  Not a great photo, but the only one I took today apart from a cat on the footpath, and the internet has enough pictures of cats already.

Spent three hours or more gardening this morning and although the heat built up later, it was still pretty warm.  I then had to take all the cuttings down to the recycling centre, as there wasn't enough room in our green (garden waste) bin. I felt physically exhausted after this, but I still managed to go swimming this evening, and was pleased to complete the full 2150m set designed by our coach (even if I was a little slow).
