Meeting the Neighbour

This is one of the six horses in the field behind my daughter's house, but the only one who was curious enough to come and say hello. My idea of heaven - all the pleasure of watching them, with none of the hard work of looking after them:-)

We decided to have a lazy day today and just chill out in the garden, catching up with all the trivia that gets forgotten in phone calls and emails. It was too hot to do much else and we were happy to avoid the crowded roads and tourist attractions. It's much cooler now, so should sleep better tonight.
