Goldfinches

A morning of vigorous housework, mainly on the main bathroom where some moulid has started to appear. The afternoon was taken up with paperwork and u3a emails.
 
The garage collected the car at lunch time for its annual service and MOT, so hopefully there will not be too much wrong with her although she is twenty-years old now.
 
Today’s picture is of two Goldfinches, which I saw first thing this morning. I have not seen any Goldfinches for many months and these did not stay in the garden very long; just long enough to get a picture.
 
The temperature at noon today the temperature was twenty-six degrees Celsius. Overcast during the morning, then very hot once again.
