A Key Day

The padlock of our street busted this morning with the key barrel disappearing meaning we would need to issue 30 keys at 40 euros a piece (they are special non-copiable ones). Turns out one of the younger sons in the street had it in his house after it came off in his hands. He could have saved a lot of grief, speculation and searching if he’d told me as the street president! Especially, as he is training to be a commercial pilot!!! Still, we are on track for a cheap repair and all existing keys will remain in use! This from beside the key shop.
