Derrynane Bay

The campsite is more like a car park, but that's what I guess for not planning ahead I guess.
Unfortunately this photo is a poor reflection of the day I had. A friend with local knowledge led us across Derrynane Bay for a 3k loop out past 'battleship' Island, what a stunning swim. We visited the pier at the end of Lamb's Head (a beautiful little peninsula) and it reminded me so much of our Donegal Paradise. (This is the first time in 15 years we are not there. )
We had a BBQ on the beach and finished off the evening with moules frites in Carroll's Cove restaurant.
