Abstract Thursday - Polka Dotty

Just a really nice relaxed day today. Church in the morning, then a huge tableful of us (probably around 20) went to the Exchange Cafe for coffee and a catch-up.

Then some chill out time after lunch reading my book club book (‘Hamnet’ by Maggie O’Farrell) and intermittently dozing off. Really starting to unwind now after all the chaos and hard work of the past weeks and months.

Thank you to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday. As it’s the first Thursday of the month there’s no particular theme today. I now have my own ironing board here at the bungalow, which is easier to iron things on than Mum’s, and I’ve always liked its cheerful polka dot cover - similar to the colourful Emma Bridgewater pottery. Just some fairly light faffing with the image today :-)
