fascinating evening

Spent a fascinating evening at the St.Maurice's Church in Horkstow listening to two local church wardens tell us about the history of the church and the village as a whole. The orange horse statue in the foreground is part of a county wide art installation celebrating the 300th anniversary of George Stubbs birth. Stubbs was once a resident of Horkstow, for more info on Stubbs and the Art installation click on the link below https://northlincolnshiremuseum.co.uk/event/horsing-around-a-sculpture-trail-around-north-lincolnshire/
