Mikado at sterts theatre

Fun evening out with my sister.
We went to Sterts theatre at Upton Cross, near Liskeard. It is having a new roof and seating, which have been delayed until the 10th August. So since the weather was forecast to be good they reverted to their roots and the show took place outside on the lawn and we were asked to bring our own chairs.
We had such a good evening. The Mikado is a fun opera we both grew up with since our grandfather loved it, so we know all the songs. Although this performance was very different being set in ancient Rome, and as always happens in this opera the songs often have a modern political slant put in
