Monopolising in the heat

A lovely day with our local grandchildren today. The heat and humidity meant we spent most of it sheltering inside. Unlike earlier summers where the heat gradually increased as the summer wore on we now seem to have much more erratic sudden spikes. The same used to happen with winters that got colder and snow was a regular occurrence. Global changes in our weather patterns are now the norm.
