Grazin' Goats...

...is the name of the business that moves these herds around hard to access places. They do a wonderful job of munching through acres of tall grass and poison oak. We see them various places where we like to take Spike for walks. This is at Spring Lake.

The extra is two little boys and their mother experiencing the joys of learning to ride a bike....John made some comment about the smaller one bringing up the rear on his pedal-less  bike, and how it didn't look like much fun. I pointed out that the wee lad is about three years old and might have a different perspective on the whole thing. They disappeared around the corner and presently I heard some little kid having a total, prolonged meltdown which echoed round the lake  so maybe John was right....

The afternoon was spent sorting through the telephone messages, trying to understand the names of the people relaying them and whether we cared. Why is it that the person one wants to talk to is never the one making the call? John lost his hearing aids which he had to take off for the scan yesterday, and didn't want to try to put on in a dark trailer.  He finally remembered that he had to wear pants with no metal on them rather than his customary Levis and had put them in the pocket. Another crisis averted. I don't have a 'find my hearing aids' app on my phone!

I'm coming up with a plan for the Klee inspired quilt and that is also giving me something to do rather than speculating about what some doctor is thinking....

Things are looking up on the medical front. I don't think the communication with the doctor is going to get any better, but the comments on the scan John had yesterday were posted on his health portal which he is now able to access. Despite the semi-comprehensible medical terms, the conclusion  seems to be that there have been no new developments from what we already know about a traumatic head injury suffered when he was hit in the head  by a pitched baseball when he was in college.

Forgive my constant complaining about this situation, but I appreciate all your sympathetic and supportive comments....
