Waiting for John
I had another visit to the A&E this morning. It was a waste of morning. The doctor said what I was told by the specialist last month didn't seem right. He spoke to the head heart specialist and the specialist came and visited me. He didn't agree with the other specialists and said that I didn't need to come into the hospital when I went into AF. Said he could start me on a new powerful medicine but it had many side effects.
After going through the side effects the specialist decided it would not be good for me but to increase the medication that I am on. I said I was on the maximum dose. He said I wasn't. I would get a appointment to see him again in a couple of months. The junior heart doctor gave me the new prescription. I asked her if I take two a day and that was a no. I said I take that amount twice a day. And yes I was on the maximum dose as I was told a month ago by the other specialists.
I wish they would read my notes. It is so frustrating..one says one thing and the other says another. The junior doctor did say that if I am in AF for over a day and still in AF the next morning to go into the hospital as they do the Electrical Cardioversions in mornings.
The top photo is the The Nurses' Memorial Chapel at the Christchurch Hospital. The other one is a part of the public hospital.
It was so cold waiting for John I had to keep walking around to keep warm. There was a light wind which was so icy.
