Para skateboarding

To cut a long story short: We arrived in Paris on the third attempt, despite all the cancellations due to the storm damage on the railway lines.

Towards evening, we had our first contact with the Olympic Games on the Place de la Concorde. We were most impressed by the display of blind skateboarders and the pleasure they took in presenting their skills to a large audience.
