Postponed Tea

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

It was roasting today - mid 20s. So quite toasty in a third floor flat!

When I came home, The Prince asked if I’d like a cup or tea.

“No,” I semi growled, “I want a beer in the sunshine.”

And so we headed up to the pub. On the way, we bumped into Marsh on his way home from work and asked if he wanted to join us.

“I’ve just resisted going into all these places with people drinking outside and thought I’d passed the last temptation,” he groaned as he did a 180° turn, “…before I bumped into you 2 idiots.”

We sat outside in the Pear Tree and had a very pleasant 3 beers while watching the Olympics on the giant screen.

And I had tea when I came home!
