Birthday

MIL was 90 today - I made her a birthday crown with 90 on the front - it has a pin so I can make her 91 next year!?!?   She enjoyed cake and filet steak and ice cream and being made a fuss of.

No.1 and I had arranged to go over and see F (also known as Nurse Ratchett) as she was going to take the staples out following surgery last week. We arrived and she wasn’t there, P was watching the Olympic and said she had driven to our house!  Oops - miscommunication but she was fine and drove back and did the deed and then we sat in the garden chatting.  Lovely lady.  

OH had driven up to No.2’s flat straight from the care home as they were on a plumbing mission - like father like son, No.2 helped him to fix it.  parts were around £30 so better than the £795 quote received yesterday!!!!!
