Milkweed plants

With aphids. Just reading more about this pest and I should not panic. They don’t hurt the monarch butterfly eggs and I should spray them away carefully. I will just cut off the those branches.
It's important to grow milkweed plants as a host for the monarch butterfly eggs and caterpillars. But the Mexican variety is not the best because it  flowers for a longer period of time, and could keep the butterflies from migrating at the right time. There is a lot to learn about the migration etc. and each time I look them up I learn more.
