I had something else planned for today’s blip but . . . . .



Perhaps it was the lack of sleep (I was awake from 12.30 til 3) that made me do something silly (and costly)* this morning.

I had to make a phone call and wait for one back before I could think about an alternative walk which was a local one through Stock Ghyll wood. There was very little water going over the weir lower down so I was surprised at the amount still coming over the main falls.

* It’s something I would have needed to replace sooner rather than later without the mishap so I’m not too annoyed with myself.
