Scabious (and Scabious)

I like the 'design' of seedheads, including this Scabious (left) with a new flower waiting to open in the background.

After an intense session working on accounts, it was pleasant to unexpectedly run into a friend in town; we each had time for a leisurely coffee and a chat. It made the day feel balanced too, something I strive for though rarely achieve.
