Wilting

The flowers, not me. We had a visit to the tip to dispose of the old carpet and a rug we no longer required. Off to Hexham for a walk round and bit of shopping. I bought one book from the charity book shops and hubby got six, he really needs to reduce his book, cd and vinyl purchases. Carpet fitters said pop into shop tomorrow to pay , we tried and they were closed with no indication as to when whey would be open. The sign on the door clearly said open today. I have been trying to contact eye clinic for weeks now, they never answer the phone and the message is to send and email for a quick response so I did last Sunday and still nothing. I should have a check every year and it is now four months overdue.
another warm dry day with an early walk and then late afternoon walk along river and through the woods where it was nice and shaded. Made a mushroom chilli for dinner with a glass of red while cooking.
