...and then there was one.

A lot has happened during these past few days at the nest. One of the chicks flew away and stayed away more than 24 hours, but returned, and we had the three sisters nicely together at home. Then I have been away from the 'window' to witness how the two other sisters left. Today there has been only one all day. 

To witness all of the phases of the life of a large bird at eye level, if only through camera lens and on a large computer screen, has been a solemn experience.
