Along the Line

Magenta rosebay willow herb and the sweet smelling froth of creamy Meadowsweet along the route of the former Formartine and Buchan Railway near the Abbey of Deer.

Having remarked on the dearth of insects in yesterday's Blip today there was an evident hatching of small whites close to where I took this shot. 6 butterflies spotted all at the same time - the greatest total for any day this year!
