Cornwall

We got up at 5.30 and left the house just before 7. We were really lucky as the roads were fairly quiet and, after a half hour stop near Reading, we arrived at our accommodation at 1pm. It’s a lovely little house, very near to the sea and with a pub and restaurant a few feet away. After unpacking, we went out to check out the local area. There’s a co op in the town and several nice looking restaurants. We got some chips and a pint in Port Isaac then took Dotty for a little walk on the beach. It was warm but very windy and there were a few brave people swimming in the sea.
This evening we walked down to Pilchards restaurant which was fabulous.
