Uplift

A muggy morning dog walk.  

Headed early to market this morning.  Whizzed round market and supermarket quickly.  It has been a largely cloudy day with very little air movement.  Thermometer in the back garden registered 30° in the shade.  The poor hound is floppy and quite happy to have only a morning walk.

The coloured bunting cheered up the grey morning.

Back home continued decluttering kitchen cupboards.  Cannot think why I had let alone kept a plastic jug like the ones hospitals have.  Also had lots of fancy tea tins recycled the ones with a bit of rust and two good ones to the charity shop.  Will carry on on the weekend. 

Managed an afternoon nap as kept waking up to noisy vehicles last night.  We have a few brainless individuals who like to race full speed in the dead of night down our road and round neighbouring streets on noisy motorbikes or cars.  A couple of houses in front of a junction have had a wall crashed into and trees in their garden destroyed and narrowly missing the front of the house.  It seems to have got worse over the years.

We've had no thunderstorms or rain despite the weather warnings.  It looks like it could be a bit cooler this weekend.  Just need air movement.
